The CIDI Interview Tool Is Based on Criteria of Both the DSM-IV and the ICD-10

Yueqin Huang

In my previous invited overview in the June 2013 issue of the Taiwanese Journal of Psychiatry [1], I mentioned incorrectly that the interview tool, the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) is only based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, the Fourth Edition (DSM-VI)[2]. In fact, the CIDI is based on criteria of both DSM-VI and the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Edition (ICD-10).
