Thyroid function abnormality is associated with some psychiatric symptoms although its mechanism is unclear completely. Some research showed that it may be the regulation of thyroid hormones in specifi c brain region. Most common condition is mood disorder such as mania or depression in thyroid dysfunction patient. But schizophrenia-like patient in my case report here is really rare.
